Bug Fix
Description:
CXXFLAGS and CPPFLAGS wasn't including user-set values.
Solution:
Changed CXXFLAGS="..." to CXXFLAGS="$CXXFLAGS ..." and CPPFLAGS="..."
to CPPFLAGS="$CPPFLAGS ..."
