Purpose: Maintenance/bug fix
Description: On OSF1 machine at PSC HDF5 configuration failed for
C library; the failure was due to the $ARCH compiler flag that
was replace by "OSF1" string confusing the compiler.
Solution: REmoved $ARCH from the compiler flags.
Platforms tested: OSF1 (lemieux), Solaris 2.8 (sol), AIX 5.1 (copper)
