Purpose:
"Bug fix"

Description:
Hardcoded Makefiles to use /bin/sh instead of letting configure
detect shell automatically.  This is what v1.6 does, and avoids
problems on janus.

Platforms tested:
sleipnir, copper, modi4, mir
